I love making these, they take me about a week to do.
I also like to use Bernat color coordinate yarn, it is very soft to the touch. And my nieces used to love getting them. I need to make some for the grand kids, hoping to get them done in time for Christmas
Baby Blanket
When I was around 14 yrs old, my grandmother began teaching me how to crochet. I believe I picked it up pretty quickly. Each time I would visit with her, we would do another lesson.
Crochet Coasters
First it was the chain stitching, then onto the single crochet and then onto the double crochet, all of which I use profusely in most of my products. I learned how to make granny squares, and potholders, blankets, and eventually I learned how to make coasters.
Orange and White Doily
Then about 3 years ago, grandma taught me how to make doilies. Gave me some old patterns dating back to the 80′s and some even earlier. So now I have learned how to treble crochet, and other stitches along the way.
I continue to create things using mainly the single and double crochet methods.
